-
Allow more processing/free time for students
-
Add a team building event
-
Allow students to spend more time on their individual sport
-
S.P.E.C.I.A.L. should take place in 1 day only – per AIA trainers/risk management, must conduct over 2 days
-
Make day before start of S.P.E.C.I.A.L. a light day for physical activity
-
Registration and check in should be more professional/organized – also, requires better coordination with athletic trainers
-
Ensure there is adequate time for the relationship talk – needs to be a priority – consider adding a panel discussion
-
Add warm ups before labs
-
Ensure mentors are in the same dorms as their campers
-
Ensure mentors account for their campers before the start of each session – need 100% accountability
-
Better prepare staff and mentors on expectations for Labs and the S.P.E.C.I.A.L.
-
Clarify balance/priorities of JAM Camp themes…. Jesus / Athletics / Manhood
-
Priority is on Jesus (Gospel message) …
