Since the late 1990's, Chris has had the opportunity to work for many outstanding companies that include: Snowshoe Mountain Resort (Snowshoe, WV), AT&T Media Services (Fort Collins, CO), Comcast Spotlight (Denver, CO), Alexander Film and Video (Colorado Springs, CO), and the Arkanasas Educational Television Network (Conway, AR). In 2004, Chris was able to start and run a successful small business, Christopher Allen Productions, that unfortunately didn't survive his 2008 PCS from Colorado to Arkansas.
Chris's work and creative vision has earned multiple awards including seven Telly Awards (2003-2011), two Addy Awards (2005-2007), two State of West Virginia Media Awards (1999-2000), and one educational award in 2007 for the Academy School District 20 in Colorado Springs, CO.
Currently, Chris is again an entrepreneur who is using his years of creative, business and military life experience to develop an organization (Macho Spouse) that will assist many of the nearly 187,000 men struggling to find some sort of male-specific support within the military family community. He is humbled by this opportunity to help build a solid foundation of future employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for male military spouses with an organization as reputable and hard-working as MSCCN.
