Here's a slideshow of our Utah Vacation Trip in June, featuring my latest Moody instruMental Music creation - Days End. I created the slideshow using Windows Movie Maker.

Remember Newton's Laws of Motion? A Body at Rest Will Remain at Rest Unless Acted Upon by a Force. (paraphrased) Or, as better stated: "A body persists its state of rest or of uniform motion unless acted upon by an external unbalanced force." This is Newton's first law of motion.

I keep this in mind as I continue to develop healthy habits, especially when keeping up my exercise and walking.

Here is a nice walk that I'm thinking about taking. First, I've gotta build up to it. Right now, I'm up to about 5 miles (today was my first day at this distance).

Here's another vinyl album from aunt Ellen's collection. Songs for Beginners is Graham Nash's first solo album, released in May 1971 and probably his most famous solo album. Nash's solo debut came on the heels of a temporary split with his CSN band-mates, David Crosby and Stephen Stills, and a permanent break with his then love, Joni Mitchell. This album's best known selections are protest songs.

On my way to Virginia, I stopped by to see my aunt Ellen and she gave me her collection of old vinyl albums to sell online. I'm just starting to catalog what she gave me and what do you know...

Soul Train is the first album that jumps out at me from the collection!

I just couldn't leave the Soul Train thing alone from my last post. So, I went back on YouTube and found this cool video of the Best Soul Train Dances Ever!

I remember the Asian lady with the REALLY LONG HAIR!!! She was always getting camera time. The Soul Train Line was what I always wanted to see. Here it is!!!

I can find old videos and music that played as the soundtrack of my life - like this one...

I remember trying to be one of the first to see the Spike Lee movie Crooklyn. I used to keep this track in rotation when I was a DJ.

Oh man, you gotta love the snippets of the Soul Train dancers in this video!!!

Here's my critique I did for the Systematic Theology II class at Liberty University.

This is our live version of the video game Rock Band. Part of a fun night at the James' household. Tamilyn decided she wanted to play the drums and had mommy (Trauna) sing. Then, Tami switched things up a bit.

I couldn't just leave this one alone, especially when the Rap version of Freedom has all of my favorite female MCs in it - Queen Latifah, Yo-Yo, MC Lyte, Left Eye (She KILLED this joint!), and Nefertiti. I kept this joint in rotation back in 1995 while DJing with the ChillVille Crew in Tallahassee, Florida. DJ Gucci-D, this one's for you!

I was "diggin' in the crates" of my mind and I came across this memory embedded deep. Seeing this video took me back to where even the emotions gripped me.

Sisters in unity singing for FREEDOM. One of the best songs ever!

It was a best ball tournament sponsored by the ACSC at Maxwell. We played the University Course and it was a beautiful day for golf.

My team was supposed to be a foursome, but two members had to drop out and my partner was still in class when the tourney started - leaving me to play the first three holes alone. No problem.

I had a great day with beautiful tee shots and some awesome chipping. I even chipped one in for birdie on the 15th hole (par 4).

We finished three under (-3) for the day. This scorecard is a definite keeper!
