What Is JAM Camp?
JAM Camp stands for Jesus Athletics Manhood, and it's a remarkable initiative brought to you by our dedicated Cru team, which includes Cru Inner-City and Athletes in Action.
Our belief is simple yet powerful: young men who have a strong connection with Jesus, are involved in sports, and embrace authentic manhood (rooted in Christianity) can become incredible leaders who shape the future in meaningful ways.
JAM Camp is a sports camp like no other, designed to help boys and young men discover their potential and make a lasting impact.

Our team is on a mission to empower young men, and we firmly believe that the world of sports offers a platform like no other for building positive leaders. Think about it – when you combine the discipline, teamwork, and dedication of sports with a strong faith in God, incredible things can happen. We're especially thrilled to welcome young men who know God and are ready to embark on a journey that blends the physical, the spiritual, and the powerful art of leadership.

The JAM Camp Experience
At JAM Camp, we're not just about sports activities – we're about shaping well-rounded individuals who can lead with integrity and faith. Here's what you can expect during your time with us:
JAM Session Talks: Our camp schedule is peppered with insightful JAM Session talks that bridge the gap between athletics, life, manhood, and God's word. These sessions are designed to help you connect the dots between the skills you develop on the field and the principles that guide you in life.
Mentorship: Throughout the camp, you'll be mentored by a fantastic team that includes volunteers, AIA and Cru staff, coaches, athletes, and business professionals. These mentors, many of whom hail from inner city communities, are here to share their wisdom, insights, and experiences with you.
Embracing the Vision
The heartbeat of JAM Camp is our vision to equip teenagers in Inner City communities with the tools they need for a future filled with hope and possibilities through Christ. Our objectives align seamlessly with the Great Commission, urging us to share the Gospel, nurture strong relationships with God, and spread the love and truth of Jesus.
- WIN: Introducing campers to the life-changing message of Jesus.
- BUILD: Assisting campers in growing their relationship with God.
- SEND: Empowering campers to return to their communities and beyond as bearers of Jesus' truth and love.
A Week to Remember
During your one-week stay at JAM Camp, you'll reside on campus in comfortable dorms. You can look forward to engaging JAM Session talks complemented by meaningful small group discussions and insightful speakers. Our Labs are designed to help you practically apply the concepts explored during the sessions.
But that's not all – you'll also enjoy basketball skills clinics, flag football, sports performance training, and even a thrilling team-building session at the high ropes course. And, for that extra dose of motivation, you'll have the opportunity to listen to inspiring talks from sports figures who've partnered with AIA in the past.
The S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Experience
The culmination of our camp is the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. – Scriptural Principles + Exhaustion = Confidence In Almighty Lord. This unique challenge brings athletes to a point of extreme exhaustion, prompting them to lean on the Lord's strength instead of their own. It's an incredible journey that mirrors life's challenges, teaching you to depend on God's power for endurance and victory.
