one of the things you will have to do is get your mind right for the journey. You will have to understand what is expected of your active duty spouse. this will change as your spouse's rank and job changes, but the basic military expectations are the same.
Your spouse will not have the freedom to say now to relocations, job positions, work hoours and many other things that civilians can. One way to get your mind right for this journey is adopt an attitude that is positive and flexible to go with your spouse as the military requires.
