Day 1 Theme: Personal & Social Responsibility
- Personal Responsibility: Demonstrating effort in new activities when working towards individual goals
- Luke 2:46-52 - “[Jesus' parents] found him … sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking questions … and Jesus grew in wisdom and stature”
- Real men take their education seriously and are focused on the future, preparing for adulthood
- Social Responsibility: Demonstrating respect for others and a willingness to help those in need
- Luke 22:32 – “[Jesus] prayed for you that your faith may not fail”
- Real men look out for the welfare of their brothers in Christ
- Luke 2:51 – “[Jesus] returned to Nazareth with [his parents] and was obedient to them”
