Here's what I want you to remember:
Your value does not come from your performance.
Your value does not come from your popularity.
Your value does not come from your wins, your losses, or what other people think about you.
Your value comes from The Creator.
The Bible says:
"Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you..." (Romans 15:7)
Think about that.
Jesus knew everything about you.
Every mistake.
Every failure.
Every bad choice.
And He still chose to love you.
He still chose the cross.
He still wants a relationship with you.
The Bible also says:
"I am fearfully and wonderfully made." (Psalm 139:14)
The Creator doesn't make junk.
He made you with purpose.
He gave you gifts.
He gave you a future.
He gave you a reason to be here.
That doesn't mean you'll never struggle.
It doesn't mean you'll never fail.
It means your failures do not get the final word.
The Creator does.
So when those thoughts show up that say:
"I'm not good enough."
"I don't belong."
"No one cares about me."
Remember this:
You are loved.
You are accepted.
You are not alone.
And because Christ has accepted you, you can learn to accept others too.
Coach T Reminder
Stop letting your mistakes tell you who you are.
Let The Creator tell you who you are.
Focus
Whose opinion am I listening to most right now?
Action
Read Psalm 139 today.
Write down three things The Creator has given you that you are thankful for.
Reflection
Am I seeing myself the way God sees me?
Prayer
Father,
Thank You for loving me even when I fall short.
Thank You for creating me with purpose.
Help me remember that my value comes from You, not from what other people think.
Help me accept others the same way Christ has accepted me.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
Live In Peace. Live In Power.
