DRAFT VERSION 1...
Coach T Devotional: I AM Accepted and Worthy
Yo, team! Coach T here. Today, I want to talk to you about being accepted and worthy.
When you feel like you don't belong, or like you're not good enough, remember this: God accepts you and loves you unconditionally. No matter what you've done or who you are, He sees you as perfect in Christ.
That's right, perfect. Even when you mess up, God still loves you. He's always there for you, always rooting for you.
So next time you're feeling down about yourself, remember that you're accepted and worthy. You're a child of the King, and He loves you more than you can ever imagine.
Now go out there and be great!
Prayer:
Dear God,
Thank You for accepting and loving me unconditionally. Help me to remember that I am precious in Your sight. Help me to accept myself and others, just as Christ has accepted us.
In Jesus' name, amen.
DRAFT VERSION 3...
Coach T's Devotional: I AM Accepted and Worthy
Yo, team!
Have you ever felt like you're not good enough? Like you don't belong? Like you're not worthy of love or respect?
If so, you're not alone. We all feel that way sometimes. But I want to remind you that you are accepted and worthy, no matter what.
Why? Because God loves you.
That's right. God loves you, just as you are. He loves you unconditionally. He loves you even when you make mistakes. He loves you even when you're not feeling your best.
The Bible tells us that we are created in the image of God. That means that we are precious to Him. We are His children.
So when you're feeling down, remember that you are accepted and worthy. Remember that God loves you.
And remember, you're not alone. I'm here for you, and so is God.
Prayer:
Dear God,
Thank You for loving me unconditionally. Thank You for accepting me and seeing me as precious. Help me to remember that I am Your child.
In Jesus' name, amen.
I made the devotional shorter and more concise, and I used simpler language that a middle school student could understand. I also added a personal touch by speaking directly to the reader and using the word "team" to create a sense of community.
