The Canada Fires Effect
The Athletes In Action campus was blanketed by the smoke from the Canada fires. The smoke looked like mist, but the difference was felt in my eyes. We were monitoring air quality each day and ready to change plans accordingly with the help of the awesome athletic trainers and AIA staff like Naomi and Lisa.

Coach Jaye led worship on the volleyball courts. rather than inside the Staff Dining Room (SDR). Towards the end, we witnessed The Creator do something so awesome by bringing together two groups on the campus.
9:30-11:30 Team Building - Ropes Course
Next, I had to get the young men to the ropes course for team building exercises. We made the distance in of about a mile just in time to meet the 9:30am start. Special thanks to Naomi and Jenna for running this portion of the camp for us.
12:30-1:30pm March to Cemetery
Since we did our camp picture earlier, I used this block of time to take the young men on a quiet march to the cemetery on campus. The march serves to help familiarize the young men with the campus and get the body moving after lunch.
"Flexibility is the key..." is the saying we ho by at JAM Camp. We plan and prepare and we always stay flexible, ready to move in a different direction at a moment's notice.
