Spontaneous
The music is created in the moment without a written score, rehearsal, or predetermined arrangement.
Music Beyond Words
Spontaneous musical journal entries where prayer, reflection, emotion, and creativity come together through improvised piano.
These are not rehearsed performances or prepared compositions. Each session captures a unique moment of expression that may never happen the same way again.
The Story
I have no formal piano training. I do not begin these sessions with sheet music, a prepared melody, or a rehearsed arrangement. I sit down, listen, and begin playing by ear.
What emerges becomes what I call a musical journal entry - an unrehearsed expression of what is happening within me at that moment.
Even now, I am sometimes amazed when I revisit the recordings. To date, I have not been able to recreate one of these freestyle sessions exactly as it happened.
Soul Speak Sessions are moments when my soul communicates through music in a way I do not normally communicate with words.
The Experience
Every session is different, but each one is rooted in presence, listening, and honest expression.
The music is created in the moment without a written score, rehearsal, or predetermined arrangement.
Each recording preserves an emotional and spiritual moment much like a dated journal entry.
The sessions often emerge through prayer, reflection, gratitude, worship, and connection with God.
Each session belongs to its original moment and may never be played or experienced in exactly the same way again.
The Source
The Grace and Peace Zone is what I call the inner space where peace, prayer, creativity, worship, and connection with God come together.
It is not necessarily a physical location. It is a state of being present, receptive, and free from the pressure to perform. In that space, I stop trying to force the music and allow it to emerge.
Soul Speak Sessions are one way I share what I experience there. My hope is that the music helps listeners slow down, reflect, pray, breathe, create, heal, and experience grace and peace for themselves.
The Origin
These sessions began as personal moments of spontaneous music creation. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I began sharing them more frequently as people searched for peace, encouragement, and connection during an uncertain season.
I later began livestreaming sessions on Facebook, inviting others into moments that had previously been private.
The purpose was never to demonstrate technical piano ability. The purpose was to share an honest moment and allow the music to communicate what words could not.
Watch and Listen
Enter the moment without expectation. Listen, reflect, pray, write, rest, or simply be still.

Music from My Soul
My "Soul Speak Sessions" are music creation sessions where my soul is speaking in a way I don't normally communicate.
First, I don't play piano. I have no piano training and what I do in these soul speak sessions still amazes me (when I go back and look at one of the videos). On-the-fly, I start playing by ear what ends up being what I call "musical journal entries". To this date, I have not been able to recreate any of these "freestyle" sessions.
I started sharing the sessions more during COVID and started live streaming on Facebook shortly after.
My aim is to share some of what I experience when I'm in the "Grace and Peace Zone"
